From watching the first half of the movie in class, my assumption would be that the "good guys" will get their verdict. Though I cannot envision this happening in real life, I think the protagonists have the upper hand. They are under cover, low key, and have a man within the group of jurors.
They also have a lawyer who is working for their verdict. A verdict which already has a good backing. Plus, I'm not really sure what Gene Hackman's character was supposed to do after picking ideal jurors. The jurors could still be swayed by the anti-gun position. The protagonists at least have an inside man for their case.

Yea, Dustin Hoffman has a great case against the gun company especially since most people have sorrow for Celeste Woods and her family.
